Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer to work on development and maintenance for a large European client in the public sector domain. The role focuses on building secure, scalable tax administration software and related systems with a global delivery model.

You will contribute to backend components, microservices, and CI/CD, using Java, Spring, Quarkus, Angular frontend exposure, and a data stack including PostgreSQL, RESTEasy, Hibernate, and Kafka.

Formación

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure efficient and predictable progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
