Job summary

Miratech seeks a Senior Java Developer to contribute to development and maintenance of customized software solutions for a large European client in the public sector. The role focuses on tax administration system development, with a team of 20+ professionals and a full lifecycle approach from design to deployment.

You will work across backend (Java, Spring, Quarkus) and frontend (Angular) layers, participate in CI/CD optimization, and collaborate with distributed teams to deliver secure,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
• Strong communication and collaboration with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications.
• Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient project progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
