UST España & Latam is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and evolve mission-critical backend services. You will work on scalable microservices using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and reactive architectures in a cloud environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement gRPC APIs, and ensure high performance with robust testing and CI/CD practices. English proficiency required; remote-friendly hybrid setup offered.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 3+ years with Java 17/21 and modern features (records, sealed classes, pattern matching).
• Strong Spring Framework/Boot experience in production.
• Reactive programming with Reactor or RxJava, or async paradigms.
• Production gRPC and Protocol Buffers experience.
• Solid concurrency knowledge and thread lifecycle management.
• JUnit 5, Mockito, AssertJ testing proficiency.
• Experience with Kafka and real-time streaming workloads.
• Cloud experience with AWS and container runtimes.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java 17+/Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices using reactive patterns.
• Develop and evolve gRPC APIs and Protobuf schemas.
• Implement high-concurrency solutions with robust thread-safety.
• Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures and data stores.
• Create automated tests: unit, integration, contract tests.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and documentation.
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud infra, and container deployments.
• Produce design docs and PR descriptions.
