UST España & Latam is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, high-performance distributed systems using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures.

You will design, develop, and evolve mission-critical applications, implement reactive microservices, and collaborate across teams for robust, well-documented software with strong testing and CI/CD practices.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 3+ years with Java 17/21 and modern features (records, sealed classes, pattern matching, virtual threads).
• Strong Spring Framework / Spring Boot production experience.
• Reactive programming with Project Reactor, RxJava, or advanced async patterns.
• gRPC and Protocol Buffers including streaming and schema evolution.
• Concurrency fundamentals and thread lifecycle management.
• JUnit 5, Mockito, AssertJ testing practices.
• Kafka knowledge and production experience with data stores.
• AWS cloud experience and container runtimes.
• English level C1 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices leveraging reactive programming.
• Develop and maintain gRPC APIs and Protobuf schemas.
• Implement highly concurrent and performant solutions.
• Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures and data stores.
• Create automated tests including unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions, design reviews, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Produce design docs and PR descriptions.
