Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Elasticsearch team. You will help ensure that shared platform functionalities are easy to use, fast, secure, and maintainable, building foundational infrastructure and APIs.

You will contribute to serverless orchestration, CI/CD workflows, and enable Elasticsearch on cloud, serverless, and on‑premise. You will lead cross‑team projects and mentor others while designing low‑level, high‑impact systems.

Qualifications

• Experience crafting robust APIs and weighing tradeoffs.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficient in core Java with concurrency concepts.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
