Signicat is hiring a Senior Java Cloud Developer to join our multinational team and contribute to the ReadID SaaS platform. You will build and improve secure, scalable server-side features, contribute to the roadmap, and help external developers use the ReadID API (REST/XML/JSON).

You will also document APIs and participate in automated testing. The role offers a hybrid setup with two days per week in the Valencia or Enschede offices, flexible benefits by location, and opportunities for growth

Formación

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Security, or related field at MSc or BSc level.
• At least seven years of professional experience in Java server-side development.
• Strong knowledge of Java EE or Jakarta, Spring, REST, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with CI such as Jenkins, containerization with Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of security principles and familiarity with OWASP guidelines.
• Experience with the ELK stack is an advantage.
• Preferably experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and Angular.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Located within commuting distance of Enschede or Valencia, or willing to relocate, with at least two office days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the ReadID SaaS server with security and scalability in mind.
• Contribute to the ReadID roadmap by adding new features and integrating with partner solutions.
• Support external developers in using the ReadID API, particularly server-side REST, XML, and JSON interfaces.
• Create and maintain clear API documentation for customers and partners.
• Participate in automated testing to ensure reliability and quality.
• Optionally contribute to analytics, DevOps or CloudOps initiatives, or backend optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers worldwide in an agile environment.
• Work at least two days per week from the office in Enschede or Valencia.
