A European digital identity company is seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to work in Madrid. You will directly contribute to the codebase while collaborating in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of Java experience, is skilled in Spring Boot, and possesses a strong background in DevOps practices. Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Java developer.
• Strong background in cloud and DevOps.
• Familiarity with observability tools.
• Familiarity with observability, incident management, monitoring, logging, tracing, and DORA metrics.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs and messaging systems (RabbitMQ / Pub/Sub).
• Fluent Spanish and English, collaborative team player.

The Team

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our Signature team. The team members are in Spain, working closely together with other teams across Europe delivering the latest in sign solutions to businesses all over Europe.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the codebase, solve complex problems, and help shape our technical direction.

What Will You Do

• Contribute hands-on to the codebase, solving complex problems and building high-quality software with Java (Spring, Spring Boot).
• Participating in technical decision-making and architecture design in modern cloud environments (GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, observability tools).
• Champion agile ways of working, encouraging openness, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Work with a DevOps mindset in a security-conscious environment
  
  

What we expect:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Java developer (Spring, Spring Boot).
• Strong background in cloud and DevOps (GCP, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with observability and incident management (monitoring, logging, tracing, DORA metrics).
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, or Google Pub/Sub.
• Fluent / Native Spanish, Fluent English.

• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of electronic signatures and cryptography libraries.
