HCLTech in Córdoba, Spain, is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design and build robust backend solutions for omnichannel retail and order management. You will work on Java microservices, API design, and cloud-native deployments.

Join a fast-paced Agile team, collaborate with DevOps and QA, and contribute to scalable, secure systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. Fluency in English required; experience with OpenAPI/Swagger and modern testing tools is valued.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer.
• Strong Java 21 expertise and Spring (Boot, Data JPA, Hibernate, Cloud).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and working with JSON/XML/GraphQL.
• Experience building omni-retail and e-commerce solutions covering order lifecycle.
• Proficiency with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD (GitLab).
• Knowledge of AWS SQS, Solace, Pub/Sub; security: OAuth2/OIDC, IAM (Keycloak/Okta).

Responsabilidades

• Analyse business and technical requirements to design and develop robust backend solutions for omnichannel retail and order management.
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy Java-based microservices with scalability and reliability.
• Design integrations with Order Management Systems and retail platforms covering key flows.
• Maintain and improve services, troubleshoot defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA to support testing strategies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
