ALK is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead critical S/4HANA migration initiatives from inception to execution in Madrid. You will guide the business through change, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and coordinate internal and external resources with strong stakeholder management.

Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally are required, with SAP/S/4HANA familiarity and a master's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.

The Role

As a Senior IT Project Manager at ALK, you will lead important initiatives within our S/4HANA migration programme, from inception to execution. You are first and foremost a strong project manager and facilitator who can guide the business through change. Your tasks will include:

• Ensuring timely, on-budget project delivery and successful milestone achievement.
• Aligning project outcomes with the strategic vision of the business.
• Coordinating internal and third-party resources effectively.
• Facilitating workshops and supporting the business through the change process.
• Leading key initiatives across the S/4HANA transformation, managing scope, budget, schedule and risk end to end.
• Steering the relationship with the Steering Committee and Project Group towards collaborative success, and reporting progress into IT management.

Being structured, organized and proactive, you will anticipate issues before they arise and know when to involve the right people at the right time.

This role is based at our office in Madrid, where our SAP team is located, and reports to the Director of IT Project Portfolio and IT Projects. You will work with colleagues across our IT hubs and can expect occasional travel to our headquarters in Hørsholm and to other ALK sites.

What We're Seeking

We are on the lookout for a candidate with:

• A master's degree in engineering, business or relevant fields.
• Proven experience in IT project management, ideally within ERP or large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, and the ability to support a business through change.
• A structured, organized and proactive working style.
• Familiarity with SAP and S/4HANA — you don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable operating in this landscape and speaking with the specialists. Having already been part of an S/4HANA journey is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with GxP pharma environments is desirable, but not mandatory.
