We are currently seeking 3 x Senior IT Field Technicians in Aftermarket to join our team.
These roles are based onsite and will be located in Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, Av de la Hispanidad, s / n, 28042 Madrid, Spain
What you will do in this role :
Works under general supervision to perform onsite field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements.
Installs, tests, services and repairs basic equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
Performs basic onsite preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
Inspects equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning and provides basic repair services as needed.
Maintains and analyses equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests and submits weekly reports summarising these activities.
Performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment.
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.
Manages technical products, services, logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.
Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends actions to company or customer representatives.
Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
Acts as local on-site company representative to the customer's organisation.
Manages statement of work to meet customer and contract requirements.
May assist in orienting, training, and assigning the work of technical / business support employees.
Experience / Qualifications we prefer :
A High School Diploma with relevant working experience or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline with relevant working experience in Airports managed services or within Airport operators in Spain.
Cisco Certifications with at least Cisco Certified Network Administrator
Familiarity and experience in dealing with and manoeuvring with the relevant Airport Operators in Spain.
Possesses a broad working knowledge of Special Airport Systems (SAS) including Airport operational systems, Baggage reconciliation system and passenger processing systems.
Proficiency in MS Office suite tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint , Word , Excel
Excellent Communication (written & verbal) in the English and Spanish languages
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment locally and globally
Good problem-solving skills to source solutions to customer requirements or issues
Excellent attention to detail and quality
Ability to travel frequently across the country and occasionally internationally as maybe required.
