Jobtailor is looking for an experienced accounting professional to independently manage bookkeeping under HGB for Germany and international entities, based in Barcelona. You will handle AR/AP, monthly closes, VAT filings, year-end support, and collaborate with auditors, leveraging SAP Business One and Excel.

Formación

• Accounting qualifications including Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or a Bachelor's/Master’s in Accounting
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in IT/software/cloud sectors
• Strong knowledge of German HGB and EU VAT law
• Experience with accruals, reconciliations, VAT, and year-end close
• Proficient with SAP Business One and MS Excel; Google Sheets a plus
• Fluent German with excellent written and spoken English

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage ongoing bookkeeping under German GAAP (HGB) for German and international entities
• Handle accounts receivable and payable: invoicing, payments, and collections
• Support monthly close, including accruals, deferrals, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax filings (e.g. EC Sales Lists, OSS)
• Support year-end close, tax audits, and collaboration with auditors and tax advisors
• Help optimise and digitise processes within the SAP ERP system
• Coordinate with other teams (e.g. Procurement, Legal, Controlling)
