A prestigious design studio in Spain is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join their team in Ibiza. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in luxury residential design and be fluent in Spanish and English. The role involves leading design processes, collaborating with clients, and managing projects to deliver high-quality designs. A passion for design and a professional demeanor are crucial for success in this client-facing position.

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, suppliers, and furniture for high-end projects.

Responsabilidades

• Attend and lead client presentations, articulating design vision and solutions clearly.
• Lead the design process from concept to completion on prime residential projects.
• Prepare and develop drawings, material boards, specifications, and detailed design packages.
• Oversee and coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and artisans to ensure the highest standard of delivery.
• Manage and mentor junior designers where required.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Our client, a highly acclaimed international interior design studio is in search of a talented and personable Senior Interior Designer to join their close-knit team in Ibiza.

The ideal candidate would not only be passionate and enthusiastic about design but also capable of excelling in a client-facing role. The ideal designer will be well-presented, able to engage with clients professionally, and adept at offering creative and bespoke design solutions through a consultative approach. This role involves collaborating closely with other designers, ensuring a seamless blend of ideas and a high standard of luxury and sophistication in every project.

This position offers a rare chance to work alongside top-tier designers on groundbreaking projects that have attracted media attention from around the world!

Please note in order to provide an in-depth design service to both the clients and the existing team, the successful candidate would need to either be based in Ibiza or be able to relocate to the island ASAP.

Attend and lead client presentations, articulating design vision and solutions clearly

Lead the design process from concept to completion on prime residential projects

Prepare and develop drawings, material boards, specifications, and detailed design packages

Oversee and coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and artisans to ensure the highest standard of delivery

Manage and mentor junior designers where required

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers

Minimum 6 years’ professional experience in luxury residential interior design

Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, suppliers, and furniture for high-end projects

Proficient in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite or equivalent)

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage clients and contractors confidently

Previous on-site project management experience
