Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Human Factors Test Engineer to join the Integration Test & Analysis Team within the Flight & Integration Test Centre. You will drive evaluation of avionics and mission systems across simulators, rigs, and flight campaigns.

The role requires 5+ years in human factors testing, strong knowledge of workload, SA, HMI and usability, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to test sites such as Seville or Manching.

Qualifications

5+ years in Human Factors testing within integration environments.
Strong knowledge of workload, SA, HMI, usability, ergonomics.
Experience with test campaigns across simulators, rigs, and aircraft.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Advanced English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute tests across simulators, rigs, and aircraft ground/flight tests.
Coordinate cross-program V&V strategies and monitor milestones.
Support flight testing by preparing orders and data analysis.
Drive certification deliverables and test reports with Design Offices/Authorities.
Analyze system limitations and draft clear technical rationales for changes.
Improve test methodologies from a Human Factors perspective across programs.
