Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a SW Requirements and Test Engineer to drive software requirements and verification across embedded real-time systems. The role involves collaboration with product managers, system engineers and validation teams, and occasional travel for project deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ experience, a software/engineering degree, and fluent English and Spanish. Hybrid working is possible with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Education in software, IT, telecommunications, industrial engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in real-time and embedded software development.
• Experience defining software requirements and performing verification.
• +3 years of professional experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Define and document software requirements from system specs.
• Develop software verification test cases and procedures.
• Establish and maintain traceability matrices across specs and tests.
• Execute test cases, record results, and report defects.
• Manage problem reports through resolution and communicate with teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, system engineers and validation teams.
• Support planning and scoping of team projects and testing effort.
• Assist product owners and project managers in timely delivery.
• Suggest improvements in processes, tools and methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging tech.
