Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid region, seeks a Human Factors Test Engineer to join the Integration Test & Analysis Team. You will plan, execute HF test campaigns across simulators, rigs and aircraft, and work with Certification Authorities to draft test plans and reports.

The role requires at least 5 years in HF testing within systems integration, strong knowledge of HF concepts, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Human Factors testing within systems integration environments (Simulators, Rigs, or Aircraft level).
• Strong understanding of core Human Factors concepts (Workload, Situational Awareness, HMI, Usability, Ergonomics).
• Familiarity with verification & validation (V&V) strategies and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Human Factors test campaigns across simulators, rigs, and aircraft tests.
• Coordinate cross-program V&V strategies and track milestone progress.
• Support flight testing and monitor real-time telemetry and data reduction.
• Draft Certification Cards, test plans, and Certification/Qualification Test Reports with authorities.
• Analyze system limitations and propose design changes with clear rationale.
• Enhance data analysis workflows and test tools from a HF/ergonomics perspective.
