Job summary

IQVIA in Valencia is seeking a Senior IT Consultant to lead interoperability and information systems initiatives in healthcare, focusing on HL7 FHIR and openEHR within the Hospital Information Systems domain.

You will define requirements, validate interoperability models, collaborate with clinical users and technical teams, prepare functional specifications, and help drive data governance and knowledge management as part of a high-impact digital transformation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5+ years as an Information Systems Consultant.
Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR.
Strong knowledge of openEHR.
Experience in healthcare interoperability projects.
Strong functional analysis and process definition skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Functional definition and requirements analysis for healthcare information systems projects, especially HIS.
Design and validation of interoperability models.
Participation in projects based on HL7 FHIR standards.
Collaboration with technical teams on interoperable APIs and services.
Preparation of functional documentation and specifications.
Liaison with clients, clinical users, and development teams.
Participation in data governance and knowledge management initiatives.
