NOVELIC is seeking an experienced hardware engineering leader to define and develop hardware architectures for industrial safety systems in a hybrid work setting in Spain. You will drive PCB design and testing, perform FMEA/FMEDA analyses, and ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and environmental standards while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires 10+ years of hardware experience, IPC/DFM expertise, and strong project leadership across cross-functional teams.

Competenze

Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering and experience in hardware design.
10+ years professional experience with at least 7+ years in hardware design.
Experience in electronics product development from whitepaper to testing/commissioning.
Deep knowledge of IPC, DFM and collaborating with EMS partners for PCB production.
Ability to estimate timelines, resources and material costs.
Strong leadership to inspire and build a cohesive team.

Mansioni

Define and develop hardware architectures for industrial safety systems.
Lead PCB design and testing using simulation tools and lab equipment.
Participate in presales RFI/RFQ responses with requirements analysis and cost estimation.
Perform FMEA/FMEDA to identify failures and improve dependability.
Conduct reliability calculations to validate safety requirements.
Ensure EMI/EMC and environmental regulatory compliance.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
