Job summary

Hireroo Ltd in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to own complex digital board architectures from concept to production. You will define architecture, select components, and drive schematic capture, layout reviews, ECOs and manufacturing support, collaborating with SI/PI, power, thermal, mechanical and firmware teams.

This hybrid role offers flexible hours, visa support, relocation assistance, 25 days leave, and a monthly food allowance as you bring high-speed interface

Qualifications

• 5+ years of complex digital board design experience.
• Proven schematic ownership from concept to production.
• Experience with complex multilayer PCBs.
• Strong digital and mixed-signal design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own board architecture and schematic design.
• Define block partitioning, interfaces and power architecture.
• Design power trees, sequencing, clocking and reset.
• Select components based on electrical, thermal, cost and supply requirements.
• Own BOM decisions, second sourcing and obsolescence risks.
• Define PCB stackup, placement and routing constraints.
• Review PCB layouts against SI, PI and thermal requirements.
• Lead formal hardware design reviews.
• Manage ECOs, revisions and board respins.
• Support prototype builds and hardware bring-up.
