Technica Electronics is seeking a passionate Hardware Engineer to join our fast-growing team in Spain. You will own hardware architecture, lead PCB design, and drive testing across automotive connectivity platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on hardware development in automotive environments, with emphasis on high-speed designs, EMI/EMC, and thermal management. Hybrid work is available, with visits to labs as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years hands-on hardware development experience in electronics for automotive.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in R&D settings.
• Experience with EMI/EMC, thermal, and high-speed design practices.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to system architecture in early project phases.
• Provide guidance to customers and stakeholders on hardware architecture.
• Lead hardware design activities: schematic, PCB layout, testing.
• Ensure compliance with Technica design processes and ownership of hardware blocks.
• Perform PCB routing with signal and power integrity considerations, EMI/EMC best practices.
• Support PCB layout teams and coordinate multiple contributors on complex designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development.
• Understand product requirements for scalable hardware features.
• Perform worst-case calculations and simulations for robustness.
• Lead hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.
• Define and execute hardware test plans and validate design quality.
• Prepare EMC/ESD/Electrical test plans and coordinate validation activities.
• Validate hardware prototypes and ensure software-hardware integration.
• Stay updated on new technologies and present at conferences.
• Participate in technical demonstrations for management/customers.
• Generate progress reports and identify risks with mitigations.
