Job summary

Kharon is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Graph Risk Analytics, based in Madrid, with hybrid work (3 days per week) and a compensation of €95,000 - €115,000 per year, paid monthly.

You will own risk propagation in the knowledge graph, design complex analytical logic, build scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with Research, Product, and Engineering to evolve the system, including exploring LLMs.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years as a Data Scientist with ownership of production systems.
• Strong foundation in statistics and quantitative methods.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with graph databases/knowledge graphs and graph analytics.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and API development.
• Nice to have: experience with LLMs or AI-assisted analytical systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of risk propagation and entity analytics in the knowledge graph.
• Design and implement analytical logic for geopolitical and financial risk outputs.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and graph-based ML systems.
• Collaborate with Research, Product, and Engineering to evolve risk frameworks.
• Evolve system architecture to increase complexity and precision of risk signals.
• Explore integration of LLMs and other AI techniques for complex risk logic.
