Oliver Bernard in Spain (Remote) is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and scale our AI-driven automation platform. You will join a small, high-impact team building event-driven microservices that power enterprise-grade AI products.

You’ll work with Go or Python, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, Docker and Kubernetes, and participate in CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. The role offers a competitive €65,000-€95,000 salary plus share options.

Formación

• Proficiency in Go or Python and hands-on experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and modern data streaming solutions.
• Solid understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate the backend systems behind our agentic automation platform.
• Design and optimise event-driven systems with Apache Kafka.
• Contribute to a microservices environment.
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate LLMs and reasoning engines.
• Work with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
