Block Labs is seeking a Go backend engineer to build distributed, transactional backend services across crypto, fintech, and real-money gaming. You will own architectural decisions and be responsible for production behaviour in a high-velocity environment.

The role focuses on writing robust Go services, ensuring correctness, and operating the system with strong observability, security, and reliability practices. You will contribute across multiple products and evolve ownership over time.

Formación

• Deep proficiency in Go for high-volume, transactional systems.
• Strong judgment on multi-tenant, event-driven architectures and reliability patterns.
• Experience owning features end-to-end in production environments.
• Proven ability to design and implement distributed backend services.

Responsabilidades

• Convert business outcomes into scoped, shippable work.
• Design and implement distributed Go services handling high‑volume workloads.
• Integrate payments providers and internal platforms.
• Explicitly codify correctness guarantees for transactional behavior.
• Run and improve the system through tests, monitoring, and automated checks.
• Operate and maintain what you ship, including failure modes and recovery.
