Job summary

dsm-firmenich seeks a Senior Analyst Global Costing to drive costing for its Human Nutrition and Care products across global sites. You will partner with manufacturing, procurement and FP&A to ensure accurate unit costs and transparent cost reporting.

Based in Barcelona/Europe with global reach, the role requires strong analytical skills, SAP experience and a finance certification track (ACCA/CPA) plus 5+ years in manufacturing costing or related fields. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance and/or ACCA, CPA or any other financial certification.
• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience; experience in manufacturing sites OR in product costing would be advantageous.
• Process oriented mindset with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
• Ability to handle large datasets and interlinked IT systems precisely.
• Ability to work effectively in virtual regional and global teams.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage time schedules.
• Strong interpersonal communication and clear idea expression.
• Results-driven with proactive, can-do attitude.
• High level of conceptual and analytical skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing Global Costing for a significant portion of DSM-owned materials.
• Partner with Commercial Teams to explain unit cost evolutions for pricing decisions.
• Own the Global Product Cost Consolidation Tool (customized SAP solution).
• Improve global costing procedures and tools with a customer-focused, lean mindset.
• Be the focal point for costing processes of monthly close and planning cycles.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts on global unit cost considering procurement and manufacturing changes.
• Lead the budget process on global unit cost with production site controllers and FP&A.
• Provide ad hoc support for projects, business cases and M&A integrations.
• Support Finance transition, system rollouts and integration of new acquired businesses.
