Bespoke Pixel, a small, independent studio in Barcelona, is seeking a Senior Gameplay Programmer to shape our Unreal Engine 5 gameplay and ship high-quality experiences. You will own features end-to-end, prototype with design, and collaborate with art, animation and audio to deliver polished gameplay.

We value strong technical judgment, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity in a tight-knit team. Relocation support and a competitive salary are included.

Formación

• Professional experience developing gameplay systems for PC or console games, including at least one shipped title.
• Strong programming skills with Unreal Engine, ideally Unreal Engine 5.
• Proven track record of turning prototypes into polished, maintainable implementations.
• Understanding of software architecture, debugging, profiling, optimization, and shipping games.
• Ability to collaborate with designers and other disciplines, and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Senior mindset: proactive, pragmatic and able to make decisions while coaching others.
• Interest in how controls, feedback, systems and moment-to-moment interactions shape player experience.

Responsabilidades

• Build gameplay: Design, implement and iterate on player facing features and gameplay systems in UE5.
• Find the fun: Prototype ideas quickly, test in game and turn experiments into polished features.
• Own features end to end: From design to implementation, debugging, optimization and final player experience.
• Connect disciplines: Work with design, animation, art and audio to translate goals into solutions.
• Raise the technical bar: Write clear code, contribute to architecture and reviews.
• Protect performance and quality: Profile, debug and optimize gameplay across target platforms.
• Share your experience: Mentor other programmers and foster collaboration.
