Job summary

Scopely is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Monopoly GO! team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. You will design, develop, and scale gameplay systems, tools, and pipelines, owning features from design through live operations.

Collaborate with designers, artists, data analysts, and engineers to continually improve the player experience, build performant code, and mentor junior engineers. The role emphasizes Unity and C# proficiency, familiarity with backend and data pipelines, and an automation

Qualifications

• Solid programming fundamentals with Unity/C# experience.
• Interest in applying AI to creativity and productivity.
• Think in terms of scalable, clean, decoupled systems.
• Experience with Unity, C#, Git, Docker and cloud services.
• Familiarity with backend systems, data pipelines, observability.
• Calm, structured approach to unfamiliar problems under pressure.

• Ability to translate requirements into clear technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale gameplay systems, tools, and pipelines for Monopoly GO!
• Own features from design through release and live operations
• Collaborate with designers, artists, data analysts, and engineers to improve player experience
• Build performant, testable code across gameplay, LiveOps tooling, backend integration
• Improve content pipelines and automate workflows for safe content shipping
• Investigate live-game incidents, identify root causes, improve monitoring
• Prototype new features and AI-driven improvements
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pairing
• Learn from and contribute to a world-class engineering org
