Codurance is seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer/Software Developer in Barcelona. You will work remotely or hybrid while collaborating on client projects to enhance software quality and introduce practices of Software Craftsmanship.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in various programming languages and frameworks. The annual salary range is between 40,000€ and 60,000€, reflecting two seniority levels. Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team!

Formación

The Role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer / Software Developer (we call ours Software Craftspeople), ideally with consulting experience, who shares the same values of pragmatism, professionalism and transparency. Our physical Spanish office is based in Barcelona but you can also work remotely from anywhere else in Spain.

You may work on a client project from our offices with our team delivery approach. This may be a greenfield project for a startup, or helping to build a mission-critical system for a large enterprise client. You may work as an embedded craftsperson, helping clients improve their own software, or help to introduce the values of Craftsmanship through coaching and mentoring.

We\'d love to hear from you if you have:

• A high level of English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• 8+ years of experience with at least one of these languages (Java/C#/ Python/Ruby/Clojure/Scala/Kotlin/JavaScript/PHP) and its build system
• Comfortable with OOP (Object Oriented Programming)
• Familiarity with at least one cloud solution (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiarity with concepts of multi-layer application designs
• Quality-oriented: follow best practices, testing (ideally TDD), pair programming, continuous integration/deployment, Agile methodologies) and SOLID principles
• Experience with mentoring team members or leading a project/team

The gross annual salary range for this role is 40,000€ to 60,000€, and covers two seniority levels based on our internal bandings.
