SoftServe is a top fashion retailer-focused client seeking a senior Java architect/developer to oversee complex business logic, lead the tech team, and drive architectural strategy. You will collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize the technical backlog and ensure architectural integrity while delivering high-quality solutions.

The role requires hands-on coding, strong communication, and experience with OpenAPI, microservices, and modern DevOps tooling.

Formación

• Proficient in developing applications with complex business logic.
• Experienced with Java 17+ and Spring frameworks (IoC, MVC, Data, Security).
• Knowledgeable in JPA, Hibernate and databases like MariaDB/PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the technical aspects of the product and drive strategic initiatives.
• Lead and manage the technical development team as primary technical authority.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to define and prioritize technical backlog and requirements.
• Ensure technical excellence and success of delivered solutions.
• Engage in hands-on coding to address complex issues within the system.
• Act as primary expert on architectural development and enhancement.
• Ensure solution adheres to architecture and latest versions.
• Monitor production performance and resolve incidents.
• Drive continuous deployment with rigorous testing (unit, functional, regression).
• Provide technical guidance to align with architecture across environments.
• Manage technical debt and prioritize in development cycles.
• Work with service-oriented architecture to develop complex solutions.
• Collaborate with customer including business trips.
• Mentor team on best practices to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Identify and remove obstacles to enable continuous improvement.
