Verisure is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for its technology team at the Alicante site. You will shape frontend solutions, drive best practices, and mentor peers while leading high-quality code and impactful UI decisions.

You will collaborate closely with the Technical Lead, maintain scalable frontend architectures, and grow into increasing leadership and ownership as the team expands.

Formación

• 10+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong Angular (v17+), TypeScript, and RxJS expertise.
• HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and modern UI frameworks knowledge.
• State management with NgRx or similar.
• Jasmine and Karma testing frameworks experience.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum) experience.
• CI/CD and development tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube.
• APIs and integrations (OpenAPI) understanding.
• MongoDB or similar databases.
• Commitment to code quality, scalability and best practices.

We’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our technology team and play a key role in shaping our frontend landscape.

The role will be based at our new, additional, technology site in Alicante, Spain. Backed by over 1,700 technologists worldwide based across our three key technology centres – our primary technology hub in Geneva (Switzerland), supported by Madrid (Spain), and Malmö (Sweden), and powered by one of Europe’s largest IoT platforms, we’re building something big, and we’re just getting started in Alicante.

About The Role

This is a key position within the team, where we’re looking for someone senior who can not only deliver high-quality code but also act as a technical reference and mentor for others.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping how we build frontend solutions, driving best practices, and elevating the overall quality and maturity of the team. There is clear growth potential in this role, and we’re looking for someone with the ambition to take on increasing technical ownership and leadership over time.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery
• Ensure high code quality through reviews and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement, proposing new ideas and improvements
• Act as a reference point for frontend development, mentoring and supporting other developers
• Act as the right hand of the Technical Lead, helping guide frontend direction

What We’re Looking For – Key Tech Stack

• 10+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong expertise in Angular (v17+), TypeScript, and RxJS
• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular Material)
• Experience with state management solutions (e.g., NgRx or similar)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma)
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and development tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube or similar)
• Understanding of APIs and integrations (OpenAPI)
• Experience working with MongoDB or similar databases
• Strong focus on code quality, scalability, and best practice
