Littelfuse is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to own embedded software architecture, design, and testing for safety-critical components and systems. You will drive unit and system tests, and collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with UL 1988, IEC standards and ISO 26262.

The role requires 10+ years in embedded firmware for ARM, with bare-metal and RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) experience, and hands-on knowledge of cryptography, debugging tools, and hardware bring-up.

Formación

• 10+ years of hands-on embedded firmware design experience.
• Experience with 32/64-bit ARM architectures, bare-metal and RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
• Experience with communication protocols SPI, I2C, UART, Modbus, CAN, Ethernet.
• Knowledge of cryptography for embedded devices.
• Hardware bring-up and debugging with JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
• Experience in safety-critical applications and product compliance testing.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and qualify embedded designs for safety-critical components or systems.
• Establish unit and system level tests; collaborate with QA to build automated test suites.
• Develop safety-critical software processes meeting UL 1988, IEC 60730, IEC 61508, ISO 26262.
• Develop DFMEA for safety-critical components and systems.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers or in-house to implement design and production readiness.
• Support travel to evaluate suppliers and assist production ramp-up.
• Provide regular project updates as part of overall planning and execution.
