Hireroo Ltd in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design, develop and validate embedded software for advanced semiconductor systems.

You will work on firmware development, dynamic thermal management, Linux integration and hardware debugging, collaborating with hardware and software teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of firmware development experience.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded programming.
• Linux drivers and PCIe experience.
• DTM/thermal control knowledge with power management.
• English language proficiency (C1).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify embedded firmware.
• Implement dynamic thermal management algorithms.
• Develop thermal thresholds, throttling and recovery logic.
• Optimize power, frequency and performance control.

The role focuses on firmware development, dynamic thermal management, Linux integration and hardware debugging. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to improve system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of firmware development experience
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics or related field
• Strong C/C++ and embedded programming

• Practical DTM and thermal control algorithms
• Knowledge of DVFS, throttling and power management
• Embedded debugging tools
• GCC, Clang and linker knowledge
• Python, Bash or Perl scripting
