Approach People Recruitment is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to coordinate monthly and annual closings across multiple entities in a dynamic European group.

You will lead internal reporting, develop KPI dashboards (Power BI), and support consolidation, budgeting, and strategic analyses in a decentralized, entrepreneurial culture.

Formación

• Master’s degree in a financial or economic discipline.
• 8–12 years in international finance roles.
• Strong MS Office and Power BI skills.
• Experience with consolidation and IFRS, budgeting and KPI reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Follow up on and coordinate the monthly and annual financial closing processes of the various entities.
• Take responsibility for the monthly internal management reporting of the assigned business units, including analysis and documentation.
• Define and implement KPI reporting (Power BI), including Price / Volume / Mix analyses.
• Prepare periodic business reviews.
• Prepare materials for Board of Directors and shareholders’ meetings.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and interim forecasts.
• Support the monthly consolidation process and follow up on differences between local GAAP and IFRS reporting.
• Support the Group’s buy & build strategy and integration of newly acquired companies.
• Develop new analyses and dashboards.
• Support and mentor more junior colleagues.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses.

The Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for a number of international companies within the portfolio, with the objective of coordinating and supporting the administrative and financial functions in close collaboration with the local finance leads.

Your responsibilities

• Follow up on and coordinate the monthly and annual financial closing processes of the various entities.
• Take responsibility for the monthly internal management reporting of the assigned business units, including analysis, interpretation, and documentation of monthly results.
• Further define and implement KPI reporting (Power BI), including Price / Volume / Mix analyses.
• Prepare periodic business reviews.
• Prepare materials for Board of Directors and shareholders’ meetings.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and interim forecasts.
• Support the monthly consolidation process and follow up on differences between local GAAP and IFRS reporting.
• Support the Group’s buy & build strategy and the integration of newly acquired companies into the Group.
• Conceptually develop new analyses and dashboards.
• Support and mentor more junior colleagues.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses, such as investment analyses, ERP support, and strategic initiatives.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in a financial or economic discipline (e.g. Economics, Business Administration, Commercial Sciences).
• 8–12 years of experience in a similar, broad-based role within an international environment.
• Broad technical expertise across multiple areas of financial management, such as controlling, management reporting, and financial process optimization.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Power BI (or other BI tools).
• System-minded, with a strong interest in ERP environments.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Communicative team player.
• Hands-on, accountable, and result-driven.
• A motivated self-starter.
• Flexible and willing to travel occasionally.
• Pragmatic and comfortable working in a decentralized organisation with an entrepreneurial culture.
