Job summary

FTI Consulting in Madrid invites a Senior Finance Manager to lead accurate financial reporting across Spain, Portugal and Italy. This role requires strong US GAAP and local GAAP knowledge and a hands-on approach to internal controls.

You will partner with EMEA and Segment Finance, oversee SOX compliance, VAT, payroll, and audits, and coordinate with Shared Services to deliver timely accounting across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration with accounting/finance focus.
• Experience in accounting, finance or controllership in an international organisation.
• Strong core finance and accounting skills with working knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP across Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper accounting under US GAAP and local GAAP for multiple entities.
• Manage month-end close, reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate SOX controls and internal audits across Southern Europe.
• Oversee VAT/IVA, payroll and tax filings for Spain, Portugal and Italy.
• Support external statutory filings and audits across the region.
• Provide leadership insights and partner with regional leadership on financial planning.
