Job summary

Biogen is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison based in Barcelona to provide scientific leadership and education across the NorthEast region of Spain. The role requires strong engagement with HCPs and key stakeholders, with minimum 60% field dedication and no direct reports.

You will deliver high-quality medical information, support research/data-generation initiatives, and map scientific stakeholders to inform cross-functional medical strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical or scientific field is required or equivalent
• Advanced degree (MD/PhD/PharmD) preferred or combination of education and experience
• 5 years of MSL Medical Affairs experience in pharma industry
• Experience working with in-hospital treatments
• Native Spanish speaker; good business English; Catalan preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Disseminate high quality medical information and educational content.
• Gather and communicate medical insights to Medical team regularly.
• Develop and update scientific stakeholder mapping and disease landscape analyses.
• Support pre-launch activities and system readiness planning.
• Assist in development of RWE studies and registries concepts.
• Provide data presentation expertise to HCPs and stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal training plans and knowledge updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute medical strategy.
• Stay updated on therapy advances and Biogen product knowledge.
