Formación

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering required.
• Basic knowledge of NB-IoT and NAS layers needed.
• Experience with commercial IoT modules is necessary.
• Knowledge of 5G communications is essential.
• Strong level of English (spoken and written) required.

WHO ARE WE?

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.

In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.

YOUR MISSION

Coordinate technical interactions with the System Engineering team and communication module manufacturers to ensure proper implementation of processes and compliance with standards, enabling the seamless integration of these modules into Sateliot’s network.

YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Technical interface with Systems Engineering (RAN / CORE)
• Manage technical coordination with communication module manufacturers.
• Act as the technical lead for the evaluation and certification of communication modules.
• Oversee the proper execution of validation and certification procedures to ensure compliance with technical standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of NB-IoT radio layer and NAS layer.
• Experience using commercial IoT modules.
• Knowledge of 5G communications.
• Analytical capacity to interpret 3GPP tests.
• Willingness to travel for PoCs and integrations.
• Strong level of English (spoken and written) is essential; additional languages are a plus

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in device certification processes.
