iPronics is seeking an Electronics Software Engineer to design and maintain software layers that expose hardware to higher-level applications. You will own the embedded Linux platform, including image, BSP, kernel, device tree, and rootfs, and ensure a smooth boot flow from power-on to a running system.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in embedded Linux or low-level software, strong Python, and experience with BSP, device tree, kernel configuration, and cross-compilation.

Formación

• Education: a degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer or Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 5+ years in embedded Linux or low-level systems software.
• Strong Python skills and advanced Linux fundamentals.
• Experience with BSP, device tree, and kernel configuration and compilation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop the software layers that expose devices to higher-level applications.
• Own the embedded Linux platform: image, BSP, kernel, device tree, and rootfs.
• Maintain boot flow from power-on to a running system.
• Bring up board peripherals and modify drivers as needed.
• Implement and maintain communication with devices inside board and with external equipment.
• Test, profile and analyze performance on real hardware.
• Collaborate with electronics, FPGA, photonics and application teams.
