Indra Space is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for space systems to design and develop real-time embedded software, using C and Python on ARM Cortex, RISC-V, or PowerPC architectures. You will work in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment with on-call duty.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of embedded real-time software experience in space or aeronautical contexts, strong RTOS knowledge, and solid software verification skills.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in design and development of real-time embedded software systems, preferably in space/aeronautical domains.
• Strong foundations in embedded architectures, RTOS, and software verification.
• Ability to work in highly regulated, mission-critical environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop real-time embedded software for space/aeronautical applications following standards.
• Implement high-quality software in C and Python using industry best practices.
• Work with RTOS like RTEMS, VxWorks, FreeRTOS on ARM Cortex, RISC-V, PowerPC, etc.
• Perform software verification and validation, test design and execution with EGSE/SCOE benches.
• Produce documentation using UML/SysML and manage configurations with GIT/SVN.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the full software lifecycle.
• Participate in on-call rotations and planned interventions.
