NXP Semiconductors Austria’s Competence Center Crypto & Security seeks an experienced security engineer to develop state‑of‑the‑art cryptographic software for embedded platforms. You will lead cryptographic work across ARM Cortex‑M and RISC‑V architectures and implement countermeasures against side‑channel and fault‑injection attacks.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in cryptography or related field is required.
• 10+ years of industry experience in cryptography and embedded security.
• Experience with C and Assembly for embedded software development.

Responsibilities

• Specify and implement cryptographic algorithms across platforms, incl. Post-Quantum crypto.
• Design software countermeasures against physical attacks (SCA, FI).
• Collaborate with security architects and evaluation teams to improve countermeasures.
• Provide technical leadership in cryptographic domains and drive architecture decisions.
• Coordinate with OS/firmware teams for secure crypto integration and testing.
• Support product certification activities and security evaluations.
