Job summary

Holtec in Madrid, Spain, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead cable routing and raceway design for the SMR-300 project using SP3D. You will coordinate electrical power, I&C, and communications systems, ensure designs meet codes and constructability, and support project execution from design through construction.

This role requires a ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree and 10–15 years of experience, with strong mentoring and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering design with significant cable routing/raceway leadership.
• Ability to lead routing/raceway scope and provide technical direction to junior engineers.
• Working knowledge of codes/standards for cable routing and raceway design.
• Proficiency in 3D plant design environment; SP3D experience or equivalent.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills with cross-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead cable routing design for electrical power, I&C, and communications systems.
• Develop routing approach and coordinate design criteria/inputs.
• Execute and/or oversee raceway design including tray and conduit layouts.
• Provide raceway sizing inputs and routing quantities.
• Coordinate penetration interfaces with civil/structural and other disciplines.
• Produce/review routing deliverables and ensure quality.
• Perform SP3D routing work and lead model reviews.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and ensure design integrity.
• Support construction/field execution as needed.
