Job summary

AECOM’s Building Services Engineering team seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of international projects across multiple sectors, including commercial buildings, healthcare, aviation, and infrastructure.

The role focuses on designing MV/LV electrical systems, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior engineers in a global project environment. The position operates in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings and infrastructure.
• Proven experience in MV/LV electrical installations.
• Experience in sectors such as commercial, healthcare, aviation, industrial, transportation, or data center projects.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate MV/LV electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding, and lightning protection.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Deliver electrical designs for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and specialist disciplines.
• Support technical decision-making throughout project development and delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quality assurance processes.
• Participate in client meetings, technical proposals, and project presentations.
