Job summary

Bryden Wood in Barcelona and Madrid is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for Data Centre and large-scale projects, collaborating with Architecture, Structures, Civils and Sustainability teams in an international environment.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts, ensure compliance with REBT/CTE, and deliver official submissions to Colegio de Ingenieros and local authorities across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Industrial, Energy Engineering or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish regulations (REBT/CTE…).
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferably with Data Centre or mission critical projects in Spain.
• Experience delivering official submissions to Colegio de Ingenieros and local authorities.
• Experience on Large-Scale Industrial/Infrastructure projects; Data Centre experience valued.
• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English.
• Proven electrical project management with autonomous leadership.
• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical technical design for all project stages (Concept to Construction).
• Supervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians.
• Identify and specify electrical equipment to meet objectives with energy efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish regulations.
• Produce submissions for Colegio de Ingenieros and authorities.
• Manage project coordination, QA/QC and risk management.
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with senior management on escalations.
