International Engineering Consultancy in Madrid is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and delivery of major data centre projects across Spain and Europe. You will guide technical delivery from concept to commissioning, mentoring engineers and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical building services/MEP engineering, preferably from an engineering consultancy.

Formación

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical building services / MEP engineering, ideally gained within an engineering consultancy environment.
• Previous data centre experience would be highly advantageous, although engineers with strong experience across other technically complex or mission-critical sectors will also be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Leading the electrical design and technical delivery of major data centre projects
• Developing resilient and highly available electrical infrastructure for mission-critical environments
• Working across MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generation, transformers, switchgear, lighting, earthing and critical power systems
• Reviewing calculations, specifications, drawings and technical documentation
• Coordinating electrical services with mechanical, structural and architectural disciplines
• Working directly with clients, contractors, developers and other project stakeholders
• Managing project deliverables, programmes and technical quality
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers within the team
• Supporting the continued growth of the consultancy’s data centre capability in Spain and across Europe
