Bryden Wood is expanding its Barcelona and Madrid teams and seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (Data Centre) to lead technical delivery across large-scale projects in Europe. You will work closely with Architecture, Structures, Civils and Sustainability teams and report to international leadership.

The role requires deep knowledge of Spanish regulations (REBT/CTE) and 6+ years' experience in data centres or mission critical projects in Spain.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Must have deep knowledge of Spanish regulations (REBT/CTE).
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferably in Data Centre or mission-critical projects in Spain.
• Experience producing and delivering official submissions to Colegio de Ingenieros and local authorities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical design for all project stages from concept to construction.
• Supervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians.
• Identify and specify electrical equipment to meet objectives with energy efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish regulations and standards.
• Produce official submissions for Colegio de Ingenieros and authorities.
• Manage project coordination, QA/QC, and risk management.
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with senior management on escalations.

At Bryden Wood, we are expanding our teams in Barcelona and Madrid to work on large scale projects for the biggest names in "Big Tech" and the Industrial sector.

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (Data Centre) to lead the technical delivery of our Data Centre and large-scale industrial projects. THE ROLE

You will be the electrical lead of our projects in Spain as well as key member on other international projects, working closely with all the other disciplines (Architecture, Structures, Civils and Sustainability) and clients to deliver innovative designs.

• Lead electrical technical design for all project stages (From Concept to Construction) including carrying out calculations, concept development, Project coordination, H&S and Risk management and project delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring team cohesion toward project goals.
• Identify and specify appropriate electrical equipment and components to meet project objectives, considering energy efficiency, reliability, redundancy, and system compatibility.
• Ensure full compliance with Spanish regulations.
• Produce official submissions for Spanish professional bodies (Colegio de Ingenieros) and local authorities.
• Manage project coordination, QA/QC procedures, and risk management.
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with senior management on project escalations.

WHAT WE NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Industrial, Energy Engineering or equivalent.
• Must-Have: Deep knowledge of Spanish regulations (REBT/CTE…).
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferable with previous experience in Data Centre or mission critical Projects in Spain.
• Experience producing and delivering official submissions to “Colegio de Ingenieros” and local authorities.
• Experience: Solid experience on Large-Scale Industrial/Infrastructure projects. Experience in Data Centre Projects will be highly valued. Note: If you have deep Industrial experience but are new to Data Centres, we want to hear from you.
• Language: Full professional fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
• Project management: Proven experience in electrical project management, with the ability to provide autonomous leadership and coordinate small teams of engineers
• Revit & Navisworks: Competent in the use of Revit and Navisworks
