Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Senior Directory Services & UNIX Integration Engineer for our Madrid office. You will provide senior technical expertise for enterprise directory services and UNIX/Linux identity integration and work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable authentication and authorization.

The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and modern identity platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent relevant qualification.
• 6–8 years of experience in directory services and UNIX integration.
• Experience with AD and Linux/UNIX identity integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical expertise for enterprise directory services and UNIX/Linux identity integration.
• Diagnose complex authentication, authorization, identity lookup and directory integration issues across Active Directory and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Troubleshoot LDAP, Kerberos, PAM, NSS, trusts, service accounts, keytabs and connectivity dependencies.
• Lead root-cause analysis and act as the senior escalation point for directory integration issues.
• Develop and maintain automation for installation, configuration, onboarding and decommissioning activities.

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:

• Provide senior technical expertise for enterprise directory services and UNIX/Linux identity integration.
• Diagnose complex authentication, authorization, identity lookup and directory integration issues across Active Directory and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Troubleshoot LDAP, Kerberos, PAM, NSS, trusts, service accounts, keytabs and connectivity dependencies.
• Lead root-cause analysis and act as the senior escalation point for directory integration issues.
• Support and stabilize Delinea Centrify / Server Suite environments.
• Support coexistence and migration activities to Red Hat IdM / FreeIPA environments.
• Develop and maintain automation for installation, configuration, onboarding and decommissioning activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, IAM, security and engineering teams while documenting risks, dependencies and technical decisions.

Years' experience: 6 to 8 years

Work Schedule: 9AM to 6PM CET, Should be flexible if needed, Weekend Support if needed due to major change
