Job description

We are looking for a Senior Data Solutions Manager to lead the development of a new enterprise-wide Data function within a leading international group.

The organization is undergoing a major technology and data transformation, modernizing its data architecture, integrating multiple sources and building scalable, future-ready data capabilities.

This is an opportunity for a business-oriented, technically strong and entrepreneurial data leader who combines strategic vision with a hands‑on approach, helping shape the new function and drive its evolution.

The successful candidate will help move the organization beyond traditional reporting towards trusted, reusable data products, self‑service analytics and AI‑enabled solutions, making data more accessible and valuable across the business.

Within the Group´s Data Operating Model, the Data Solutions Manager will work in collaboration with the different Data Solutions Leads in the different Business Units. He/she will be responsible to build the Corporate Data Solutions Platforms that can be reused across all Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the different Corporate Data platforms, architectures and solutions, including data lakes, integration pipelines and reusable data products.
• Lead our S/4 Hana Data Insights solution implementation, as part of our Global Program (all functional areas in scope)
• Drive growth of our Corporate Data Marketplace / Insights Hub, enabling secure, scalable and intuitive access to information across different functions.
• Work with AI engineering teams to ensure ready to use data solutions that can be accessible through AI tools.
• In coordination with the Data Governance Team, ensure that all Data standards are duly implemented and met.
• Partner with key stakeholders to understand challenges, anticipate needs and proactively identify opportunities to create value through data.
• Drive the evolution from traditional reporting towards self‑service, conversational analytics and AI‑enabled data experiences.
• Foster innovation, ownership and a data‑driven culture, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

Professional Experience

• Solid experience in Data Platforms and Data Solutions, with a strong understanding of Data Architecture, cloud technologies and data integration, and practical knowledge of Data Governance principles.
• Ability to translate business challenges into innovative, scalable data solutions, proactively identifying opportunities and combining technical expertise with business acumen.
• Proven experience delivering data solutions and data projects in fast‑paced transformation environments, balancing strategic vision with hands‑on execution.
• Knowledge of AI‑ready data architectures, Generative AI and emerging technologies, with a forward‑thinking approach to how businesses access and leverage data.
• Experience in startups, scale‑ups or corporate digital transformation environments will be particularly valued, together with the ambition and potential to grow into broader leadership responsibilities.
