The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to shape data strategy for the Marketplace. You will partner with product, engineering, and business teams to design experiments, build scalable analytics, and drive data-driven decisions impacting ROI and growth.

You will mentor teammates, lead analyses, and translate complex insights into clear recommendations while advancing data infrastructure and governance across the organization.

Formación

• Excellent communication skills; translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong business acumen; translate problems into analytical solutions and decision frameworks.
• Influence stakeholders and drive alignment through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, causal inference, and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with experiment design, analysis, and rollout of A/B and multivariate tests.
• Advanced SQL skills and ability to write efficient, production-ready queries.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation, visualization, and advanced analysis.
• Knowledge of data modeling and experience partnering with engineers on data infrastructure.
• Experience prioritizing and managing analytical work, data assets, or product backlogs in cross-functional environments.
• 2+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with leadership or ownership experience.

• Forecast and simulate hypotheticals to provide signals for large initiatives.

• Design, build, and maintain reusable data products and self-serve capabilities.
• Translate analyses into clear, actionable recommendations linked to ROI, conversion, retention, and revenue.
• Maintain understanding of product and data assets and outcomes of past experiments.
• Identify opportunities for new data products and integrations with business partners.
