Job summary

PepsiCo is expanding its Global Digital Commerce Team and seeks seasoned data scientists to build deployable ML models across regions. You will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on data, tooling, and analytics to empower international growth and address complex business challenges.

The role emphasizes production-ready ML, data access collaboration with engineers, agile delivery, and a bias toward business storytelling and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working in a team to deliver production level analytic solutions.
• 4+ years’ experience in ETL and/or data wrangling techniques.
• 4+ years’ experience in Statistical/ML techniques for supervised and unsupervised problems.
• 4+ years’ experience in developing business problem related statistical/ML modeling with Python or Scala.
• Strong business storytelling and ability to communicate data insights.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence; agile team experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to best practices for engineering and coding in PepsiCo.
• Work with product teams leveraging core technology platforms.
• Active contributor to code development in projects and services.
• Partner with data engineers to ensure data access for discovery and model consumption.
• Support large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models.
• Set KPIs and metrics to evaluate analytics solutions.
• Refine requirements into modelling problems.
• Influence product teams through data-based recommendations.
• Research state-of-the-art methodologies and create reusable libraries.
