Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Data Science SRE team. You will apply statistical analysis, ML techniques, and networking knowledge to improve performance and reliability of our global platform.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, diagnose bottlenecks, develop tools, and mine data feeds to generate actionable insights for leadership. This is not a QA/DevOps or Operations role.

Formación

• Academic or industrial experience in data science or related quantitative field.
• Experience with statistical data analysis and ML.
• Proficient coding in Python or C/C++.

Responsabilidades

• Apply analytical skills and statistical insights to identify bottlenecks and reliability challenges and propose solutions.
• Develop new tools to diagnose problems faster and more independently.
• Define, implement and mine data feeds from Akamai sources to produce insights.
• Influence decisions at high levels and identify areas for new technology investments.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations and Product teams to guide adoption of new features and processes.
• Build software tools and systems to automate analytical tasks and workflows.
