ALBA, located in Cerdanyola del Vallès near Barcelona, invites applications for a data analysis pipelines engineer in the Methodology Group. You will design end-to-end pipelines for multimodal experimental data, automate workflows, and deploy solutions across local servers, clusters and cloud computing resources.

The role emphasizes reproducibility, collaboration with beamline scientists and external partners, and delivering reusable software components with thorough documentation and training

Formación

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of professional or research experience in data analysis or scientific software development, including Python.
• Experience with AI/ML methods and data analysis across multimodal data is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end data-analysis pipelines for multimodal experimental data.
• Develop workflows to test and validate methodologies before broad use.
• Automate analysis workflows and orchestration across computing infrastructures.
• Deploy and optimize workflows on local servers, HPC clusters and cloud services.
• Document tools, prepare user guides and provide user support.
