Job summary

EQS Group in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Data Ops Engineer to design, build, and maintain the data platform powering our Compliance SaaS. You will shape data pipelines, infrastructure, and tooling, embedding automation and observability to support reliable, scalable delivery.

You will own Airflow DAG development, data ingestion pipelines, and SQL-driven modeling while collaborating with SRE and Backend teams to align architecture and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL knowledge and data modeling skills.
• Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Airflow DAGs and data pipelines.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and environments across platforms.
• Collaborate with SRE and Backend teams on architecture.
• Enhance monitoring, metrics, and incident response.
