Job summary

Huspy is expanding its data capabilities and seeks a Data Engineer to design, scale, and govern data pipelines across cloud-native environments. You will own real-time and batch data, collaborate with product and analytics teams, and ensure robust data infrastructure across Europe and the UAE.

You will work hybrid in Madrid or Dubai/EU remote, leveraging Snowflake, Kafka, and Airflow to deliver scalable data products and governance at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Data Engineering role or Analytics Engineering with pipeline/infrastructure experience
• Proficiency in Python for ETL, orchestration and automation
• Hands‑on Airflow experience building DAGs and managing workflows
• Experience with event streaming systems (Kafka, Schema Registry) and batch pipelines
• Cloud native experience with AWS (S3, ECR, ECS, IAM)
• Strong SQL and data warehousing exposure (Snowflake preferred)
• Modeling mindset to design scalable data models balancing complexity and business needs
• Ability to collaborate with product, ops and analytics teams to translate requirements into data solutions

Responsibilities

• Design and scale data pipelines connecting applications, events and external sources to Snowflake
• Work with Kafka and event-driven architectures to power real‑time data products
• Orchestrate workflows with Airflow to automate dependencies and ensure data availability
• Leverage AWS data services to build scalable, containerized data services
• Maintain data quality and observability with testing and monitoring frameworks
• Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD for data pipelines
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
